Positions are filled according to the requirements of the job and qualifications of the applicant. All positions are full-time unless otherwise indicated. Schedules will include weekend and holidays.

HALL POSITIONS

Food Servers On-call, Seasonal and Full-time
Candidates must be friendly, articulate, well-groomed, have good communication and organizational skills, and have a willingness to learn. Must be proficient in English.  Previous fine dining experience strongly preferred.

Front Desk Receptionist Full-time and Part-time
Ideal candidate will be well organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Candidates should have a basic understanding of hotel operating systems, such as Epitome. Excellent communication skills required, plus sincerity in exceeding guest’s expectations. Must be proficient in English and able to work varying hours. 

Porter Part-time
Candidate will provide a positive first and last impression to guests as they arrive and depart the hotel by assisting with luggage, explaining in-room amenities and promoting all hotel facilities: restaurants, pools, recreational activities as well as local places of interest. Candidate must be friendly, articulate, well-groomed, have good communication and organizational skills with a willingness to learn. Candidates must possess strong customer relations skills, a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere.

Night Porter
Position is responsible for late night guest service requests and minor maintenance repairs. Candidate must have the ability to learn hotel emergency procedures and have general maintenance experience. Must possess strong communication skills, have a pleasant phone voice, excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Housekeeper Part-time
Must have the ability to clean between 8 and 9 guest rooms per day. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must maintain a clean, neat appearance and be comfortable interacting with guests. Must be available to work flexible shifts to include weekends and holidays.

Private Events Servers On-call, Seasonal and Part-time
Responsible for the ordering and delivery of guests’ food and beverages. Candidates must be friendly, articulate, well-groomed, have good communication and organizational skills, and have a willingness to learn. Must be proficient in English. Previous find dining experience strongly preferred.

HALL & CLUB KITCHENS

Executive Pastry Chef (1)
Responsible for the smooth running of the Pastry Department within Keswick Hall and Club. This will include food cost, menu planning of desserts, breads, pastries, budgetary control, staffing and hygiene. Will work closely with Executive Chef, F&B Manager, and Catering/Conference Service Manager in compilation of menus for functions, meetings, Dining Room and Club.

Pastry Cook
Candidate must demonstrate basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Prep Cook
Candidate must demonstrate basic knowledge of culinary techniques. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 

Line Cook
Candidate must demonstrate proficient cooking skills. Must understand how to coordinate the timing of orders and have a general knowledge of Ala Carte cooking techniques. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Rounds Cook
Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of cooking skills. Must understand how to coordinate the timing of orders and have a general knowledge of Ala Carte cooking techniques. Must be able to work all stations; fish, meat, pantry and banquets. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

ADMINISTRATION
 
Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant
Responsible for the daily financial transactions and the accurate accumulation of daily and monthly reporting totals, Keswick Utilities billings and credit card and gift certificate tracking. Preferred candidate will have a college degree and 2 years Accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, excellent communication skills; verbal and written, a pleasant nature and the ability to multi-task.

GROUNDS
 
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Responsible for assisting in planning and organization of maintenance activities, supervising golf course staff in all course maintenance activities and assist in the operation and maintenance of pumps, irrigation and drainage systems. All eligible candidates must have a two to four year degree in Turfgrass management or related field and two to three seasons involved with golf course operations. Preferred candidates will possess a positive attitude, be willing to work in a team atmosphere and be able to communicate in Spanish.

Grounds Assistant
Ideal candidate should possess a love for gardening, plants, flowers and the outdoors. Duties will include maintaining bedwork and plantings as well as prunning throughout the estate (full-time position).

CLUB POSITIONS
 
Pavilion Attendant – Part-time/Seasonal
Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Poolside Cafe operation and tennis shop. Qualified applicant must provide outstanding service to all members and guests at all times. This individual will have various responsibilities; booking tennis courts, answering phones, serving food, keeping the pool area clean and much more. Applicants must be available to work on weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years old.
