Where is Keswick Hall located? Our 600-acre estate is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of Virginia's wine and hunt country. Thomas Jefferson's Monticello is a short 5 minutes away and Charlottesville, a unique community of restaurants, shopping, and cultural opportunities, as well as the home of University of Virginia, is a scenic 20-minute drive away. 

What travel options are available for Keswick Hall? Delta, United Express, US Airways, Colgan Air and Continental serve the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO). Piedmont Aviation Service, adjacent to the airport, is available for private planes and jets. Keswick Hall offers a private helipad. By car, Keswick Hall is approximately 1 hour from Richmond, 2 hours from Washington and 3.5 hours from Baltimore. 

How many rooms does Keswick Hall have? The four season resort contains 48 rooms on the 600-acre Keswick Estate.  

What do the guest rooms look like at Keswick Hall? Each of our 48 guest rooms have been refreshed with new accent colors and colors for a modernized traditional look. Facing formal gardens at the front and the golf course and lush rolling fields at the back, each room features antique furnishings, custom carpets, luxurious Frette linens and Hypno bedding for a truly residential feel. Generously sized bathrooms feature separate, glass-enclosed showers, oversized or claw footed tubs, antique porcelain bathroom sets, heated towel racks, hair-dryers, and a selection of Molton Brown bath amenities, including herbal bath salts, hair treatments and body lotions.

Are rollaway beds available? Yes, for all rooms and suites except for Superior Rooms.

Is there an additional charge for requesting a rollaway bed? Yes, a rollaway bed is subject to an additional $50 fee.

What public rooms are available at Keswick Hall? In keeping with the grandest and most authentic estates, the public rooms at Keswick Hall are inviting and filled with period inspired furnishings and art that tell the story of the original home, Villa Crawford circa 1912. Roaring fireplaces create a welcoming environment for a game of snooker, an evening cocktail or an afternoon of reading from the Inn's library of books written by Virginians or about Virginia. The Great Hall is the main lobby of the resort with the two wings of the inn branching to either side. Guests may relax by the fire, plan their day with the Concierge or gather with friends and family before dining in Fossett's Restaurant or venturing off for their next activity.

What are Keswick Hall's dining options? Keswick Hall has a variety of unique and award-winning dining options. Fossett's, opened in 2004, is the signature restaurant of Keswick Hall, featuring a farm-to-table menu served with a spectacular views of the estate's pristine landscape and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fossett's Bar is adjacent to the restaurant and features speciality and signature drinks, terrace and fireside seating, and a varied and inspired bar menu. The Palmer Room at Keswick Club offers casual and intimate dining for just 50 guests. 

What facilities and activites are available at Keswick Hall? Keswick Hall, combined with Keswick Club, offers guests a wide variety of opportunities for recreation and relaxation including: the Pete Dye golf course, driving range, private golf lessons, seven lit tennis courts, three swimming pools including an infinity edge lounging pool, fitness facility, full-service spa, retail shops, complimentary bicycles, miles of nature trails, and much more. 

What off-property excursions are available for guests? Horseback riding, skeet shooting, fly fishing in nearby streams, hiking and mountain biking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and whitewater rafting on the James River can all be easily arranged. We can also arrange tours of nearby attractions, including Monticello (home of President Thomas Jefferson), Ash-Lawn Highland (home of President James Monroe), Montpelier (home of President James Madison), historic downtown Charlottesville, local vineyards, famous Civil and Revolutionary War battlegrounds, University of Virginia's Rotunda and Academic Village, horse farms and more.
